• Responsible for facilitating a 6-week seminar for low-income students, assisting them with their transition from high school to college, to invigorate interest in academics, and instill purpose for students who would be classified as high-attrition risk students. My cohort completed the program with a 90% pass rate. The averages for the program was 80%.• Worked closely and collaboratively with Program Director on crafting lesson plans to effectively distill academic material to better support both professors and students in promoting greater learning outcomes.

San Antonio College in effectively writing for all subject matters including highly technical STEM reports to academic literature reviews.• Completed research and curriculum development, resulting in launching my own section where I had the opportunity to lead a class four times a week as a supplement to professor-led courses.• Promoted to Tutor-in-the-Classroom in 2016, a highly-coveted position, responsible for being the primary teaching assistant for faculty and working specifically with 18-24 students per section and logging over 500 contact hours with these students.• Performance in this role resulted in increased student outcomes, 8% above students who did not participate.
