About Anthony Leon

I am a student journalist at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I recently graduated from Stony Brook University and I am interested in pursuing either becoming a music reporter or a sports producer. As a journalism major, I hosted my own music podcast called "The A&J Tunes Podcast." I also was a commentator on WUSB 90.1 FM Stony Brook. I have written articles and produced multimedia for my journalism classes as well.As a sports fan growing up, I always wanted to be involved in the sports industry. When I was a camera operator at my local church, I realized that my passion for multimedia could be intertwined with my love of sports. Additionally, I learned that I could combine my multimedia experience with my passion for music to expand my media opportunities. In the future, I would love to be able to produce content about either basketball or football as a sports producer for some sports media company like ESPN. Also, I would love to talk about stylistic decisions that singers make for a media company like Billboard or Genius.
