The goal of the course is for students to construct an autonomous rover that can navigate an obstacle course and secure an object. My role as the instructor is to teach the students about the different components and tools at their disposal and help them problem-solve. This course is designed to teach 1st and 2nd-year engineers the engineering process and some of the critical technical and hands-on skills (i.e. soldering, wiring, CAD, coding) they might need in their careers as engineers.
