I was fortunate to work in three different departments during my internship. I started in theme park operations for Magic Kingdom. In this role I was I operated equipment that started and stopped the attraction, maintained line movement to accommodate 2000 guest an hour, monitored guests and their movement during the ride to ensure their safety, and greeted guests prior to entering the attraction. Six months into my internship I was fortunate to experience another aspect of the hospitality industry. I started working at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in the bell services department. I was a front desk dispatch agent in charge of handling guests luggage and personal items. Within three weeks I was promoted to Disney's Magical Express where I was responsible for processing all guest luggage coming from the airport.
