My current role at the Medical Council of Canada is as the Acting Manager for the MCC 360 program. The MCC 360 program is a Continuing Professional Development program for physicians practicing in Canada. The program provides physicians with direct feedback from their colleagues, coworkers and patients by examining the core physician skills as a Communicator, Collaborator and Professional.In my role I am supervising a team that manages the day to day operations of the program, as well as working both cross-departmentally and with external stakeholders to prioritize, plan and implement program and system improvements.

As the Senior Business Planning Analyst, I worked to enable a cohesive corporate view of priorities and opportunities. I facilitated all aspects of the integrated planning process, working collaboratively with cross-directorate resources and stakeholders at various levels to identify, describe, and evaluate business opportunities, explore solutions and options, and provide consulting expertise with the development of business cases. Additionally I assisted project teams in developing project plans and drafting grant applications

While working with the Medical Council of Canada in the Finance Department, I conducted strategic analysis, leveraging financial records and other organizational data to build various models and projections. I prepared presentations of scenarios and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

I have had the pleasure of working for CPA Canada as an exam marker for their National Marking Centre. This role is performed on an as needed basis when exams are administered. It involves reviewing exam submissions, assessing the responses against a marking rubric, assigning a score and providing the candidate with qualitative feedback on their performance and potential ways to improve moving forward.

While working at the New Edinburgh Community & Arts Centre, a community centre for providing arts and recreational programming for youth and adults, I reported to the board of directors on the ongoing activities of the organization and made recommendations on strategic direction. I was responsible for program planning, financial reporting and projections, facilities management, grant applications, and community outreach and relationships.
