Looking after approx. 1200 council properties I deal with all aspects of tenancy management. From introductory meetings through to the end of a tenancy I deal with successions, assignments, mutual exchanges, right of survivorships and evictions. As well as this I coordinate anti-social behaviour, sustainment issues, tenancy fraud and illegal occupation.There is huge pressure on social housing in Oxford and as the waiting list for council housing is increasing we are housing the most vulnerable people with complex needs. I am the first point of contact for tenants experiencing a wide range of difficulties from domestic abuse and child protection issues to ex-offenders, drug/alcohol abuse move-on tenants and care leavers. I work closely with social services, police, schools and other support services in Oxford.I have had extended training in handling difficult and unpredictable behaviour, mental health awareness, drug and alcohol awareness, prostitution and domestic abuse awareness as well as Chartered Institute of Housing training.

Successfully managed a patch with approx. 650 council properties. Conducted neighbourhood 'walkabouts' with mulit-agency attendance with the aim of improving Oxford's council estates. Dealt with anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse and child protection cases. Implemented performance improvement initiatives. Conducted mutual exchanges, tenancy successions and assignments, attended court, served Notice to Quit and Notice Seeking Possession to end tenancies. Initial investigation into tenancy fraud, sub-letting and non-occupation of council properties. Highlights:Produced a film to communicate to stakeholders, and the general public, the role of Estate Management in Oxford City Council.Developed a tenants telephone survey with the aim of more accurate management of the housing database.Key part of high profile drug house closure.

Working at Pizza Hut's Global Centre of Excellence I ran the European 'Cutting' Program where I'd invite key product suppliers from the UK and Europe to present and discus their product with other suppliers. This forum was a key driver for maintaining and improving the high standard of products used throughout the European and UK market. I liaised directly with Quality Directors of these major companies and developed action plans for improvement.I worked with other stakeholders of Pizza Hut and KFC developing training films and materials to be used at store level. I helped run the Global Benchmarking programme, oven calibration programme and developed a taste-test calibration for internal food technologists involved in product development and quality assurance. I managed stock supply for the European test kitchens based at Tricon Restaurants International.

As part of the management team who open Oxford's second Pizza Hut restaurant I was key to breaking first year predicted sales by over 100%. I developed the restaurant's Local Store Marketing strategy and using hour-by-hour sales figures developed a unique way of staffing the restaurant that reduced cost of labour significantly. While on a secondment to Yum!'s Centre of Excellence in Woking I secured a permanent position in the R&D/QA team.
