Monitored and ensured that all personnel were trained to standard.-In 18 month period, coordinated 29 Yellow Ribbon events for over 5,000 deploying service members and their families, and created programs that minimized deployment and redeployment issues.-Built community partnerships by forming and leading the Inter-Service Family Assistance Committee (ISFAC) which enables us to coordinate with numerous government and private agencies to bring multiple facets into service member and family support. -Championed new ideas and approaches that made our Family Support program a showcase for the National Guard. Our directorate, consisting of licensed clinical counselors, professional financial counselors, event planners, youth specialist and veterans' liaison, regularly coordinate assets to resolve various issues early before they became crisis.-Oversee the Sexual Assault and Response Team and the Equal Opportunity and Equal Employment Opportunity Office. Planned and coordinated training and informational events in an effort to minimize work place issues.
Liaison Officer To The Provincial Government Of Kirkuk (Program Manager)
-Assisted local Iraqi officials in establishing functioning provincial (state-level) legislative and executive branches to provide vital functions, basic services and security to their constituents.-Resolved numerous critical issues on a daily basis in an ethnically volatile area.
