Took over the Manager responsibilities for a staff member who gave notice. Key accomplishments: assisted in 12 million dollar automation project to improve quality and output. Created a much better working relationship with GM team who were very dissatisfied with the Hitachi Pump Program. Reduced Team Member head count from 20 per shift to 12. Improved team morale by bringing stability and fairness to an area that had suffered for many years. Initiated and completed a total overhaul of the ISO documentation for this area, an item that had been overlooked for many years. Hired Supervisors and Lead People that were interested in a challenging work area and turned this area around.
