Position provides data analysis and interpretation for clinical, operational and financial systems related to health system pharmacy services with an emphasis on medication safety, regulatory/legal compliance and accreditation programs as well as quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) projects and outcomes. Functions include facilitating the development and implementation of the pharmacy department’s strategic plan and related performance improvement initiatives and teams using Lean/Six-Sigma methodology. Position provides project management support for quality improvement projects related to Medicaid Quality Incentive Program (QIP) and development of Tableau Dashboards. Additional responsibilities include the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Department’s administrative assistants and analysts for the health system and pharmacy residency programs. This pharmacy leadership role included coordinating HR functions for the department and ensuring compliance with UC and medical center policies and procedures.
