As Project Coordinator for operations division at The Companies of Nassal, I help our fabrication process run in a smooth and logical fashion. It is my job to find ever more efficient ways of fabricating the themed construction and signature elements that Nassal is famous for. I do this by coordinating the flow of materials and information through our departments. We are always striving to stay on the cutting edge of technology and management practice to ensure the maximization of both our operational capacity and the delivery of quality work for Nassal's clients.

The purpose of this internship is to develop a base knowledge of construction management activities as it relates to themed entertainment. The position has embedded me within an active project team where I participate in project meetings, track and update project status, submit purchase orders, RFI's, and perform other document support. I have also been trusted with responsibility on several sections of project delivery. A growing part of the job is to facilitate vital communication between the design and fabrication departments, as well as helping shop managers and the project manager meet deadlines. This is accomplished by any means necessary, from assisting in scheduling and projections to physically helping the fabrication team construct project elements. In this position, I have become an integral part of the project team for a large scale international themed construction project. I have learned powerful, transferable skills regarding business professionalism, operations and supply chain functions, and project management.

In my role as management analyst, I evaluated the effectiveness of the HR, personnel, and project management practices at "JB Pro Group". I helped upper management to identify the greatest breakdowns in management practices and aided in the development of new management systems to improve operational efficiency and employee effectiveness. A key area of focus was the identification and removal of "bottlenecks" in the operational flow of business. This was accomplished reworking job descriptions, recruiting talent for entirely new job positions, and restructuring the project management process. I researched and facilitated the integration of a new software suit for time tracking, performance appraisal, and project management.
