Master Control OperatorResponsibilities include:• Monitoring 3 separate broadcast channels to ensure all program and commercial advertising content aired as scheduled and subsequently reconciling aired content with programming logs for the broadcast day.• Working closely with Commercial Traffic and Programming departments for implementing any changes and adjustments to broadcast program log. • Resolving any technical issues or content discrepancies to on air program.• Delegating assignments to operations and production staff during breaking news events and/or under-staffing.Robotic / Manual camera operator:• Responsible for the simultaneous operation of a total of 7 robotic studio cameras for news broadcasts controlled through a single Vinten Robotic station (6) and Jita Cam robotic station (1).• Experienced in operating standard studio camera on heavy and light pedestals.Commercial / Long form Ingest Technician:• Responsible for quality control during the acquisition (via satellite downlink, FTP, tape delivery) and subsequent ingest of all commercial advertisements as well as syndicated and locally produced program content that are to be broadcasted on all 3 channels.Video Technician:• Responsible for shading of all cameras during news broadcasts and non news studio productions.Floor Director:• Responsible for upkeep of studio facility including maintaining satisfactory condition of all sets and lighting equipment used during productions. Also, directed on air talent while on set during news broadcasts and non news studio productions.Video Editor:• Produced sponsored billboards for morning news cut-ins, conducted quality control editing for feature length films contracted to air on all 3 channels, in addition to corrective and additive editing on various locally produced studio shows. For example, last minute video inserts.
