I relocated to Singapore in September 2021 to head up Stanford's business across the APAC region.I specialised in handling search assignments on behalf of leading International Law Firms and Global Financial Institutions for senior lawyers and compliance professionals, as well as providing advice on strategic team build outs and office openings primarily for clients based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Melbourne.

They have been active in the market for over twenty years and offer a combination of retained search work (predominantly at Partner and General Counsel/ CCO level) as well as advising select individuals on both domestic and international moves. I exclusively focused on running senior search mandates for both lawyers and senior compliance professionals across Financial Services with geographical expertise across both Asia Pacific and EMEA, having evenly split my 20 years search experience across both regions. In September 2021 I relocated to Singapore to lead the business across the APAC region.

I joined them in early 2011 to build a capability to recruit across the legal space and executed mandates across Asia Pacific for a diverse client base of Investment Banks, Fund Managers and select Top Tier and International Law Firms. I returned to Europe from Australia in the second half of 2014.

ESperitus were the specialist legal search arm of Ellington Savage, one of Australia's pre-eminent boutique search practices. ESperitus focused on handling senior level mandates for a select group of clients across the world (which encompasses a number of leading Law Firms, Investment Banks and Fund Managers) and were particularly active in Australia, Asia Pacific and Europe. I ran this part of the business with a particular focus on strengthening their offering across Asia, and for financial services clients globally.

Pure Recruitment Group are the UK's leading Tax Recruiter, and I was hired to strengthen their capabilities in the legal space. I exclusively focused on the recruitment of lawyers and compliance professionals into fund management organisations, including both mainstream investment managers and for those that follow alternative investment strategies, such as Private Equity and Hedge Funds. I particularly focused on retained mandates for senior level hires.

After initially starting as a researcher supporting all areas of the business at this leading international specialist legal recruiter, a opportunity arose to join the banking team when the sole consultant in the division left to set up on his own. I built up the practice focussed on the recruitment of lawyers across financial services, both in the UK and overseas. My particular area of focus was fund management.

As part of the Mountbatten Internship Programme, see www.mountbatten.org, I was placed as a intern for a year with a leading Manhattan legal search practice. I supported the Principals and Senior Consultants on retained mandates for team hires and Law firm mergers.
