I'm extremely passionate about business, having incorporated my first company in 1997 I have spent the last 25yrs building and developing businesses in IT, Food and Beverage in Retail and Wholesale sectors, and Travel/Events. I've been in the motoring and events industry since 2001 - and was Event Director and part-owner of the Dutton Rally which went on to become the Australian Tarmac Challenge, from 2002-2009.I was also the National Automotive Manager for Graysonline (grays.com), increasing their Automotive division sales tenfold during my tenure, and worked as a Motor vehicle wholesaler for many years. In 2008 I started Ultimate Driving Tours, a company that is dedicated to taking international guests on exceptional experiential driving and luxury journeys. Now in its 17th year, Ultimate Driving Tours continues to deliver inspiring and engaging bucket list-ticking events and tours, with experiences around the world for Australian and International clients. www.ultimatedrivingtours.com I'm also a part-owner and co-founder of Zushi, award winning modern Japanese restaurants in Surry Hills and Darlinghurst. www.zushi.com.au In 2011, I co-created 'Sushi Ginza', which is born from our Zushi Restaurants and supplied fresh daily-made Sushi products to grocery stores and supermarkets. At the time we were the largest distributor of wholesale sushi in Australia. The wholesale business was sold at the end of 2014. I'm interested in all businesses and hope to mentor young business owners who want to start their own company. In my experience its one of the most interesting, exciting, scariest, stressful and rewarding things you can do.
