Communication platforms include transport to application, radio, satellite, phone and common user systems. Managed projects in excess of one million dollars.

Chief of Operations for the Information Directorate at US Army Pacific, responsible for communications operations (planning and execution) spanning more than 24 different countries across an area of over 64 million square miles.. Directly managed 20 communications personnel and responsible for the day to day operations of over 100 personnel in the directorate. Senior communications planning team member for a senior Army organization [4 Star] responsible for daily reporting and briefing to senior executives. Managed over 27 individual projects and was the principal communications planner for a number of major initiatives to improve communications in the region.

Fort Carson, Colorado

Responsible for all aspects of communications for a Brigade Combat Team with a workforce of over 4000 personnel. Established and maintained communications from transport to application in an austere environment numbering more than 70 unique locations. Managed a workforce of 20 direct reporters and more than 250 technical personnel. Introduced and managed a number of unique cutting-edge platforms to increase productivity. Managed new acquisitions through the Army Acquisition process.

Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, United States

Responsible for determining and documenting required capabilities for Army Mission Command Systems as part of the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS). Chaired/Managed numerous Integrated Capabilities Determination Teams to gain the consensus of various stakeholders throughout the Army and Joint community and to establish metrics for assessing the validity of required capabilities. . Reviewed Army publications as part of the official review process before official publication. Managed eight direct reporting personnel.

Hohenfels, Bavaria

Trained, mentored and coached various battalion sized units (approximately 400 personnel) on communications techniques, best practices and doctrine to prepare for war-time missions. Additionally was responsible for employing and maintaining communications within the training team which included more than 40 personnel. As an additional assignment while at this duty station I worked as the protocol/public affairs officer responsible for arranging visits by numerous dignitaries (civil and military, foreign and domestic), to include all aspects of their itineraries. Also provided talking points, media encounters/coverage and speeches for various officials at the command.

Company Commander for a communications company responsible for providing real-time communications capabilities to General Officer level organizations throughout Europe and the Middle-East. Responsible for the morale, welfare, logistics and training of over 70 personnel and families. Managed a team of professional communicators in war-time with no losses of personnel in some of the most dangerous and austere locations in Iraq.
