As the IT Lead, Mr. Chopra’s responsibilities included: network security, systems hardening and preparation, server maintenance, active directory configuration and administration as well as verification of backup media before being put into storage. He also provided and developed a strategic plan in relation to the handling of data and application security for the CBRAT web based tool. Project oversight was provided in the conversion from desktop to a web environment. Assessments were made of the desktop based tool and recommendations were made to increase the level of security and reliability of the tool during the development process of the web based version. Mr. Chopra also drafted and executed incident response plans, disaster recovery plans, and continuity of operations plans in order to enhance system security documentation and system reliability. He received an award for exemplary contributions in both IT advances and security efforts from STi.
