"Taking the scenic route" is sometimes used to describe someone who took too long to get to a destination. In my experience, the most important work is done before I've arrived at school or a job site. From an early age I've always been sure to approach my tasks and my passions thoughtfully and allocated extra time to prepare for them when I arrive and begin.In my time as a community mental health Case Manager, I worked all around the county and would regularly use the drive between destinations to play prepare for any unexpected challenges my client and I may face when trying to accomplish something to positively impact their life and circumstance. As a manager of restaurants and cafes I needed to consider the needs, strengths, and potential obstacles to our business' success that day and in the long-term, so I would leave an hour early each morning in order for my coffee and I to get some peace and quiet before the day started.In the scope of my entire career, I've taken the time to find that the things I care most about are creativity and growth. I'm passionate about trying to conceptualize and actualize things that didn't exist or could stand to be reinvented and improved upon. For these reasons I'm looking to build and expand my technical ability and help to innovate with a company in a web development role.
