Backend Developer Java - Database: I worked in the NoSQL Database engine that the company developed. I used Java, C/C++, Apache Kafka, and Zookeeper. I learned about distributed systems, query engines, query optimization, design patterns, integration tests, chaos tests, performance, parallel processing, and how columnar databases work.Backend Developer - Python: I worked creating some products using Python, like APIs following the REST Model and a Query Parser. The tools that I used in the process were Python, MySQL, httpio, Aerospike, and Antlr4. I learned about API's architecture design, performance, caching, micro-services, security practices, design patterns, modeling databases, how asynchronous systems work, and ORMs.Backend Developer Javascript: I created some scripts and APIs using Node.js and Express. Also, I created some systems integrating APIs with tools like MongoDB, SendGrid, Sheets API, RabbitMQ, and third-party e-commerce APIs. I learned how message systems work, how to integrate APIs with third-party code, how to design an API, and how to structure code to follow patterns like MVC and webhooks.Backend Developer Java - Presto/Trino: I was responsible to study Trino/Presto to maintain the company's fork of the repository, also I worked on integrating Presto with Alluxio to execute queries over object storage systems. I learned about APIs in Java, how to design tests in an API, concurrency, immutability, query engines, query parsing process, query optimization, object storage, data formats like Parquet and ORC, and immutability in code.

Apache Arrow: I was responsible for maintaining the Gandiva project inside the Apache Arrow repository. We had experience with the following technologies: Java, JNI, C++, CMake, and LLVM. Also, I had experience in big and open-source projects.Automation: I wrote integration tests and pipelines using CI Tools like Jenkins(using the Groovy language for scripts), GitHub Actions, and Travis.Java: I was responsible for writing the functions that were executed in the query engine of the project using Java and C++. Also, I was responsible for taking care of the integration of the Gandiva with the project we were working on.Other technologies that I used during my work experience were Parquet, Hive, and ORC.
