The position is responsible for the company’s facilities, business IT systems, legal program, validation program, supply chain, and manufacturing operations. As the Director of Operations & Finance I organize and oversee the daily operations of the Company. My primary function is to ensure that the business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people... i.e. make sure everyone has what they need to do their job. This requires thorough knowledge of various company processes and the ability discover the most efficient ways to run the business.Responsibilities:Operations• Liaise with executive team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress• Manage project management, facilities, IT, & legal teams• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to design an operational programs that ensure safe and efficient production of cell therapy products that are compliant with international current good manufacturing processes (cGMP) regulations and standards.• Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation• Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation• Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors• Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics• Oversee the implementation of business IT systems.Finance• Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems• Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel• Oversee all audit and internal control operations• Direct market research, health economics analysis, and reimbursement analysis.• Direct creation of business cases for future research and development projects.• Primary interface for due diligence requests from individual, institutional, and strategic investors.• Oversee day to day financial operations including foreign exchange purchase program, credit applications, etc.
