Project Manager of a $15,000 budget Seasonal Compensation Review; evaluating 50+ positions; affecting operating costs up to $100,000.Manage ongoing and pending employment legal cases; coordinating with legal counsel to reduce organizational liability.Champion and lead implementation of the Human Resources Intranet Portal for all employees including HR policy, forms and general information.Provide consultative support including performance management, employee relations issues, policy interpretation and best practices, employee complaints, conflict management and resolution, workplace investigations and legal obligations.Coach people leaders and employees in the performance management program initiative including goal setting, review process, employee development and engagement.Full involvement in the recruitment process from job postings and advertising, developing interview questions, screening of resumes, coordination of interviews, interviewing candidates, reference checking and formal offers.Prepare company metrics and analytics including recruitment growth, time to fill, annual sick time costs, compensation costs, time off in lieu/vacation costs to the Senior Leadership Team.

Respond to all inquiries regarding employment issues, HR policies to all levels of staff in addition to providing proactive advice and recommendations where possible.Full involvement with recruitment process from collaboration of job postings and advertising, developing interview questions, screening of resumes, coordination of interviews, interviewing candidates, reference checking and working with staff to ensure they adhere to CH recruitment practices.Collaborate with payroll to identify new work flow process to ensure effective management of time and payroll process, including best practices; serve as payroll back-up.Coordination of all Summer Employment Subsidy programs and assist with the Conservation Halton Job Fair.Assist with Health & Safety programs by ensuring all incident/accident reports are processed in a timely manner.Maintenance of central HR filing system; preparation of new hire handbooks and enrolment forms and maintenance of organizational charts.

Responsible for providing administration support to both areas of Human Resources and Health & Safety, including salary and benefits administration, recruitment and staffing process, training and development, health and safety, and employee relations.
