Backpacker / Student Of Yoga / Personal Development
New Delhi, Vrindavan, Mayapur, Mumbai, Sydney (Aus), London, Dallas, Toronto
My desire to become self-realized (stemming from Mazlow's Heirarchy of Needs) brought me to the path of Bhakti Yoga which has brought me on a whirlwind tour of personal development, musical expression, and philosophical introspection. It also built a worldwide network of friends, mentors, and students.During this time I meditated for a minimum of two hours a day.I volunteered in centers all around the world. North America/ Europe/ Asia/ Australia.I lived in India for a cumulative total of 14 months in three trips. My time here helped me understand the culture and a completely different way of life from what I was used to in Canada.I also went to Australia for 9 months, two of which were spent at a farm project with cows, Woofers, and food catering. My biggest takeaways from this time were a wider understanding of the world and the people who fill it. Personally, I also feel it has given me broad range of cultural, philosophical, and artistic experiences and perspectives which I can draw from to creatively apply any task or project put before me.I am also an expert dishwasher! ;)
