Colleagues describe him as "I have worked with Anthony over the past few years as he has been part of the end user computing transformation at Cancer Research. As a supplier organisation I have found Anthony's partnership approach to be an example of best practice in vendor engagement. He has held us to high standards whilst being collaborative and as inclusive as he could be with plans and strategies. He has deep, current and practical implementation knowledge around most aspects of the Citrix portfolio, surpassing in some cases that of our own people. It has been a great pleasure to work with Anthony and I look forward to working with him again in the future.", "Anthony is a dedicated and extremely reliable technical architect whose skills will always be in demand at CRUK and elsewhere. His knowledge of Citrix technologies is encyclopedic and as such, he is constantly used as a sounding board and reference point by his colleagues.
On a personal level he is a very likeable individual and his keen sense of humor enables him to manage difficult situations and bring about the very best from his colleagues.", and "Anthony has been the strategic lead on an Enterprise Mobility Project for well over a year within Cancer Research. The project originally started with Citrix Cloud Gateway, where Anthony delivered an internal PoC to the business, and moved into the XenMobile Enterprise (XME) suite when Citrix released the product in July 2012. As one of the early adopters of XME, Anthony engaged heavily with Citrix Product Management and R&D on product development and testing of the solution in a real world environment at CRUK. He also worked extensively with the support teams during this process.
In delivering XME within CRUK, Anthony has deployed all aspects of the technology so MDM, MAM and our Enterprise Follow-Me-Data solution, ShareFile Enterprise. He has delivered the full Worx Home experience to the users including StoreFront 2.0 as the CRUK Corporate AppStore, secure email with Worxmail, secure Web access with WorxWeb and wrapped ShareFile for secure document sharing and editing on mobile devices. A key element of the XME solution is NetScaler Secure Gateway and Anthony has installed and configured for SSL VPN, per app micro-VPN and combined with the XME capabilities, Single Sign On (SSO). Anthony has also taken the NetScaler capabilities as a next generation gateway into other aspects of the network and has succeeded in consolidating the existing networking products onto a single solution, reducing on-going management costs, stripping out complexity and integrating with the other Citrix infrastructure products to improve the overall user experience.
CRUK are a large user of XenDesktop and have deployed VDI for over 1200 users to date with a view to scaling this to the entire business. The XME implementation has been fully integrated into this virtual desktop infrastructure so users have a true ‘anywhere access’ environment. Anthony has been instrumental in delivering a flexible working environment for CRUK and has built strong technical and personal relationships across the Cirtrix organisation including our Systems Engineering and Specialist departments. Personally, I would recommend Anthony as a true SME in regards to Citrix technologies and one of the leading technology experts outside of Citrix itself in our XenMobile mobility solution."
