FEHNIX is a New Zealand-based unmanned aerial systems (UAS) company providing green-technology services. Our mission is to contribute to New Zealand's well-being by providing UAS services with an emphasis on the agricultural sector as a cost-effective, safe, and environmentally friendly alternative to current technologies. UAS provide significant safety advantages over manned aviation methods and, when adopted, promise to eliminate serious injuries and fatalities that can unfortunately occur. Safety is paramount to our organisation, and procedures and measures are in place to achieve a zero-incident operation with many of the safety systems we implement drawing expertise and knowledge from well-established global entities such as CAANZ, CAAUK, FAA, and JARUS. We source industry-leading technologies from vendors across the world and integrate them into task-specific, purpose-built aerial solutions to provide robust, safety-centric driven platforms and services. Our specialised agricultural UAS technology offers reduced spray drift and the near elimination of noise pollution problems common with conventional aerial, blower, or boom-based operations. By utilising UAS technology, we offer tangible environmental benefits, the most notable being the replacement of existing fossil-fuel-powered systems, with New Zealand’s world-leading renewable electricity (hydro, geothermal, wind, and solar). This allows FEHNIX to contribute to New Zealand’s official policy of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
