Bodycote Camas is an integrated thermal processing facility providing Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) and Vacuum Heat Treat services. We are AS9100 certified and hold Nadcap accreditation for both HIP and heat treat. As a Quality Engineer, my duties include: • Identify and record present or potential conditions that effect product, process, or the quality system and initiate corrective or preventive action procedures to address conditions and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions. May include controlling or stopping further processing of product until corrective action has been satisfactorily implemented. • Coordinate the interdepartmental efforts required to comply with quality assurance requirements. • Identify quality training needs and taking steps to ensure training is provided. • Report on the performance of the quality system to management for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system. • Assist in general quality activities including control of quality records, monitoring quality objectives at all levels, implement, monitor, and maintain the QMS, evaluation/disposition of non- conformances, audits (on site and internal). • Monitor and maintain outside processing including evaluation of suppliers, generating purchase orders, review certifications of conformances and review test reports. • Support in process and final inspection processes, receiving inspection, contract review, generate and sign certifications.
