Every day, I wake up and begin by turning on the tap to fill our children's water bottles before sending them out into the world to achieve great things. This simple act reminds me of my purpose as I start my work each day. It fuels my passion to expand my efforts into new focus areas, seeking a better understanding of the challenges facing the entire drinking water sector. I strive to infuse this passion and perspective into everything I do.Throughout my career, I've devoted myself to crafting innovative yet practical solutions to serve the public and contribute to the advancement of the national drinking water program.In addition to my operational role at ASDWA, my work primarily revolves around water quality data, supporting the modernization of the Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS), addressing water sector cybersecurity, and breaking down barriers to innovative treatment technology. I lead ASDWA's Data Management Committee, Cybersecurity Workgroup, and Sanitary Survey Workgroup. Additionally, I co-lead the SDWIS Transition Planning Workgroup and serve as the Project Manager for the EPA/ORD-funded "Innovation Applied: Streamlining Access and Approval of Technology for Small Systems."If you share similar passions, please feel free to reach out!
