With over 30 years working in professional service firms I have worked across the audit and advisory practices in a number of diverse industry sectors - Energy, Mining, Power and Utilities, Waste, Water, Oil and Gas (Upstream and Downstream), Agribusiness, Industrial Markets, Logistics and Energy Infrastructure. Having leading sector roles in Power and Utilities and Coal I have developed a deep understanding of the global changes, issues and opportunities across the energy sector value chain and enjoyed developing professional service capabilities to better serve our clients in these markets. The world is changing rapidly and as a technology visionary I am excited by the opportunity to change the way we work, how we work and to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness that new and emerging technologies offer to identify. We can change for the better if we look with an open mind, take risks and invest in (and embrace) our future. It is a challenging and exciting time for companies and those companies that are innovative, agile and bold will be successful.I am particularly excited by the opportunities the domain of space provide and see the technology application from these advancements significantly changing the way business operates, regardless of industry and scale. I hope my experience and ability to see the bigger picture, understand the technology opportunities and how they can intersect with current business processes to solve real problems will add value to the companies I work with and the communities we live in. These changes occur once in a generation and the advancement of space technology will be an important disruptor for many generations to come.On a personal level I enjoy coaching and watching my kids play netball, rugby, soccer, golf, baseball and cricket whilst my personal return to the baseball diamond has been well worth the aches and pains that now occur.
