This work includes consolidating related data, automating processes and closely aligning the inventory data with the actual network information. This work collapses disparate systems and processes within a singular, cohesive system/process.Trailblazer - 2006-2011 Directed and lead the Trailblazer project to facilitates the design and provisioning of transport network circuits in a services oriented architecture. The system allows single point provisioning across a massively heterogeneous network. It also provides correlated alarms to network circuits, a history of each transaction, network authentication and access control. The system is designed for high availability with automatic fail over and zero compute cycle load distribution. Currently the system offers proven real zero 9's up-time.This work included integration of 6 companies in to a single system/process for provisioning. The role included management of the developers, stake holders, architecture and development life cycles. The outcome reduced provisioning outages from 25 per month to 5 per year.Level 3 has also leveraged the system as a cloud based product offering allowing external customers to self manage large, private networks from anywhere in the world including Internet 2.Data Collection Engine - 2000-2006Data Collection Engine (DCE): Managed, architected and developed a distributed data collection system for gather network data including SNMP data. Data was used for capacity planning, element outage alarming and IP based billing. The bills from this data accounted for $12 Million per month in revenue. System is multi-tiered/multi-node/multi-threaded/multi process and provides robust and reliable transfer of network data from the global network. -
