I was the sole proprietor of the Law Firm of Anthony Verna. There, I focused on trademark law (trademark applications, trademark searches, trademark oppositions, licensing and negotiations). Ask me about settling Trademark Trial and Appeal Board cases - my first ever changed an "I" to a "Y" in a client's trademark thanks to CitiBank being the plaintiff. I also focused on copyright law (copyright registrations, copyright database searches, copyright licensing and negotiations). I settled a case in which a client's visual work was very similar to one in a Marc Ecko t-shirt.

I aided a client from Japan to protect its pharmaceutical patent in litigation against a generic drug producer. This included document review for litigation, reviewing briefs for litigation, and creating witness binders for testimony.

I was originally a technical advisor to the National IP Rights Center, LLC, an intellectual property law firm outside Philadelphia, PA. While there, I was promoted to an Associate Attorney.I focused on preparing and researching due diligence for trademark applications and trademark applications themselves. I also edited and contributed to briefs in trademark infringement ligitation.I also prepared due diligence for patent applications and helped to draft and edit patent applications.
