CurrentManaging a team of Broadcast Engineers at Westwood One’s West Coast facility in Los Angeles . Designed and built digital audio studios for NFL, NCAA, Anaheim Angels, and Tampa Bay Rays. Spearhead the development and design of broadcast facilities and studios in multiple markets, perform technical maintenance of production and broadcast facilities. Engineer and operate radio remotes for National Events. Manage annual operating budgets including several $1M+ capital projects. Organizational Highlights:• Upgraded and installed new satellite uplink system and coordinated several transponders changes.• Lead Engineer for the Super Bowl, Grammy Awards , Academy of Country Music Awards, and Billboard Music Radio Remotes.• Assisted in the studio buildout of Westwood One’s Network Operations Center in Denver, Colorado.• Standardized the look and operation of Westwood One’s Valencia Studio.• Installed a VOIP telecommunications system.• Directed installations, repairs, and maintenance of digital audio consoles, computer support, telephone systems, SAS 32KD, and 32000 digital routers and Enco automation systems.• When Metro Traffic was a division of Westwood One, supported multiple markets including Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Seattle, Phoenix, Portland, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, Orlando, Austin, Jacksonville, Memphis, and Mobile.• Resolved transmission problems (L band uplink, ISDN, T1, Broadcast Loops) and repaired broadcast equipment as needed. • Operated radio remotes for events including the Super Bowl, Grammy Awards, NCAA Final Four, Academy of Country Music Awards, and the Billboard Music Awards.
