Thesis title: Applying homomorphic cryptography to protect users privacy in information systems.Main lines of research are: privacy, networking, cryptography and (fully) homomorphic cryptography. The outcome for the thesis is an internet protocol ensuring strong anonymity, deniability and privacy with as few assumptions as possible. PhD in the research team CIDRE, specialised in distributed system security (Intrusion detection, Privacy protection and Trust management). Supervised by Christophe Bidan, Nicolas Prigent and Cristina Onete. In second year, a mobility of 9 months in Prof. Lynn Batten’s laboratory Deakin University (Australia).

Teaching activity at ISTIC for Bachelor students, during the PhD. Including: 20h ofclass, and the supervision practical courses. Subjects include: functional and imperativeprogramming, C language, file systems, and unix shell. I had to deal with beginner students,to develop teaching skills, and participate in the organisation of the courses.

Subject : Using homomorphic cryptography to ensure users' privacy in ad hoc networksThree major fields : (homomorphioc) cryptography, privacy, and ad hoc networks.The internship lead to a paper published in the proceedings of SARSSI 2013 (France), where a novel privacy-preserving ad hoc routing protocol was presented. Although the homomorphic encryption is inefficient, especially for ad hoc networks, we show how one can achieve "strong" privacy using this tool.
