I am a Paris-trained designer passionate about creating surprising, delightful, user-focused products. Some of my favorite projects are Sylaps, Upcounsel and Wonderschool.My career started in visual design in Paris, where I worked at the Institut de physique du globe de Paris. While at the Institut, I provided design support for staff and students. Subsequently, after I moved to San Francisco, I was inspired to cofound Sylaps, a consumer-facing video conference and collaboration app, which is still running today. As Chief Product Officer, my scope ranged from product design to the vision of the business, and additionally, sales. As UpCounsel’s first designer, and as the sole designer for the majority of my tenure, I had an opportunity to design a complex B2B legal marketplace and community. In summary, I helped lead the design for the product you see today. Some of my passions center around: design | problem solving | design thinking | lean ux | ux research | design leadership | user empathy | product user experienceI get especially nerdy about science, from physics to neuroscience.
