Hello! My name is Antonio Banda. I am currently a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelors in Marketing. As a student, I was interested in psychology and business. Marketing blended those two passions perfectly together for me. Marketing has changed significantly in just a few decades and in my lifetime. The introduction of the internet has vastly expanded how business can market and reach a wider audience.The introduction of social media has given a new voice to the customers and has provided a medium for instant feedback. It is important that people in our industry recognize and understand how we can effectively meet the needs and demands of consumers .In today's ever connected world it is also important that marketers actively embrace and explore change and new opportunities. As a marketing student, i am interested in social media marketing, strategic planning, consumer behavior and analyzing marketing research data. I hope to graduate with a degree and go into the field of social media marketing or marketing research. Through my work and volunteer experiences I have developed online marketing, event planning, social media account management, and customer service skills and I plan to always keep learning as a professional and an individual.
