As a dedicated student of both accounting and coaching, I seek to learn everything I can in school and on the job. My eight seasons of coaching experience have taught me how to be a leader, and I believe in passing that down to my own players. I currently have the benefit of focusing on three major areas of accounting through different parts of my life. At school, I research GAAP compliance, and how to account for large, publicly traded firms. At my internship, I deal mostly in individual tax, testing my attention to detail while applying my knowledge of tax law to real life situations. At OVC, I see the small business side of accounting. There I budget to keep club operations running smoothly, and execute payroll for the coaches employed. Seeing my career and my passion come together gives me the drive to pursue excellence in both, and even though I am a beginner now, I look forward to investing my lifetime to it.
