Augusto has a Master's degree in Computer Science, specifically in Distributed Computing. He has been a teacher professor at Unifor, a Brazilian University, since 1990. He is also a skilled professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience in application development, having played many roles, from Programmer to Software Architect. Lately, he has been working in compliance with CMMI-3 processes and RUP, having much experience with others software process models, like XP, Component-based software development, incremental development and Structured Process. He has also strong knowledge and practical skills in UML and Object Oriented Analysis and Design. He has been working, researching and teaching these subjects since 1998. Augusto is also responsible for managing Analysis & Design process of Instituto Atlântico, a CMMI-3 certified corporation.He got expertise working with and studying Java technologies since 1999.
