Prototype Technicians wear many hats. Having detailed technical knowledge is essential, but being a trustedcollaborator and problem solver is just as important. I’m a Prototype Technician who applies my technical andLean knowledge to real world medical applications. I’m known for my skill at communicating cross functionally and to all levels, from the production floor to executive leadership.Some of my closest collaborations have been with Electrical, Mechanical and Process Engineers and ProjectManagers, to design prototype products, from concept to completion. I analyzed prototypes to ensure compliance with all ISO and FDA requirements for safety and quality. I also provided the engineers with suggestions for process improvement, safety, quality and cost savings, moving towards production readiness.As a knowledge specialist, I frequently train others. I never assume that someone will assimilate information in a certain way. That’s why I enjoy customizing training to meet the needs of each person. Developed Lean 5s procedure for company production.
