About Antonio M. Valverde

Hello! I hold a PhD degree in Physics and Mathematics. As part of my doctoral thesis, I have spent 6 years developing algorithms and a large electromagnetic simulation software in C++.Even though I am a physicist, during my PhD I realized I'm passionate about programming. I'm good at learning fast and I also have good logical skills. I am very familiar with C++, Python, Git and Docker, but in my spare time I have also worked on side projects to learn other tools such as C, Rust, Typescript, React or Haskell. I have acquired many skills in software engineering, such as good coding practices, algorithms and data structures, problem analysis, testing, CI/CD, and software architecture.It is worth mentioning that I attended several conferences as a speaker during my Ph.D., therefore acquiring good communication skills.
