Panel Breakdown Coordinator
Current• Review approved shop drawings or marked-up shop drawings before initiating the breakdown process.• Request the Project Manager (PM) for cutout marked-ups and create 3D cutout drawings required for fabrication• Lay out site measurements in CAD, using Inventor and AutoCAD software, and redesign frames if they differ from the slab edge drawing.• Perform the breakdown in the software, specifically using Inventor and AutoCAD, according to standard practice. Prepare sketches where required (e.g., flat pattern, vent box, electrical cut-outs, etc.).• Release breakdown and material take-off to purchasing and the plant as per schedule and procedure. However, advise the PM ahead of time if the schedule cannot be met.• Design special brackets or supports required for Window wall/Curtain wall frames• Create Panel Wall designs based on site dimensions and architectural drawings, employing Inventor and AutoCAD software.• Create templates, and optimize iLogic rules and scripts to automate repetitive tasks for variable parts.• Program and generate NC files to run on the CNC turret machine. Additionally, prepare fabrication drawings for Projected Panels, Flush Panels, Back Pans, Railing Panels, Slab Covers, etc., using these software tools.
