I am a researcher, trainer, consultant with over 20 years of experience in the field of marine biology and aquaculture. I have specialized in the development of production solutions for cephalopod species, inshore, onshore and offshore aquaculture; animal welfare and ethics in the context of production and research; fish processing and quality control. During the years that I have performed research, I have developed attention to detail, analysis of data and critical thinking, which added to my innate problem-solving skills. I have also grown in resilience, initiative and work ethic. This allowed me to develop high competence in preparation and success in assigning related projects to aquaculture at R&D and Business level. I have leadership experience at academic and business levels, ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Professional experience in managing and motivating teams, creativity, and interpersonal skills. Responsible, competent in verbal and written communication, organization and time management. Dynamic, proactive and flexible natural leader but also having work ethic, with the ability to be part of a team in a dynamic environment, to deliver results and services to customers.Recently, I have tried different jobs such as Guest Relations and Operations at BLife, a Local accommodation company in Faro. Since April 2023, I became a Real Estate Consultant with RE/MAX.
