1) Managing the ledger, accounts payable/ receivables, collections, cash & Fund flow management; handling accounts payable / receivables and journal entries.2) Preparing payroll.3) Ensuring timely payments are made to creditors 4) Preparing daily cash flow statements to track the daily payable and receivable requirement 5) Preparing application of Letter of Credit, Trust Receipts, Performance Guarantee and Bid bond 6) Performing export letter of credits and to analyse the compliance of documents presented 7) Checking all documents as per LC terms before submitting for process 8) Updating the bank / cash receipts and payments through focus accounting software and do timely Bank reconciliation. 9) Taking responsibility for, and supervising the work of, more junior members of staff.

• Following up of bills receivables after invoicing to debtors, conducting ageing analysis with an aim to keep receivables under control.• Ensuring speedy processing of claims and credit notes.General Accounting Functions• Analyzing statutory books of accounts and reconciliation of financial statements in compliance with the norms. • Maintaining MIS & reports for customer outstanding and collection statement; evaluating them for facilitating decision-making process.• Handling documentation work for credit limits and credit worthiness of Customer and to get bank report to enroll customers in debtor’s list.• Monitoring and following up collections from customers and sales team.• Weekly and monthly Credit review• Preparing weekly collection report (Actual vs. Budget) • Monitoring record of all consignment goods• Passing credit notes for appropriate sales or rebates and discount• Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.• Communicating with customers via phone, email, mail or personally• Using Focus RT accounting package.
