Passionate about science and english, I left no stone unturned when i chose pharmacy as my formal education and freelance writing as my joy. Being a voracious reader myself, writing has always been there in my mind forever now. It was only when i traveled to Ooty for my masters degree, i got to put my upstairs brain to use on the writing front. The scenic beauty around played cupid nevertheless. I gravitated towards starting my own blog, which after a while left me yearning for more. Two years later, plus a double masters (MBA), the bulb in my prefrontal cortex lit up paving the way to start writing for money. After all, isn't it amazing to earn some money to pay off for your daily dose of golgappa and hot piping mirchi bajjis by the beach? (Yes, that's where i actually live, by the BEACH) Since then, there's no looking back. Worked for some renowned fashion blogs and websites, academic and lifestyle magazines etcetera. Adding another feather into my cap, started off my own fashion brand that deals with handwoven and handmade stuff with an intention to support the local artisans and also promote sustainability. Over six years of freelance writing, four years of being an entrepreneur, and 20 months of being a mom, i couldn't have asked for more. Writing will be my eternal love. I promise i'd give my 100%.
