I was responsible for research funding portfolio with the global team of professionals and functions incl. Product, Engineering and DevOps/Operations. Key focus area 1. Infrastructure consolidation and optimization by migrating all consumer facing and internal application to AWS 2. Developing products to support use-cases across research funding 3. Developing and managing partnerships with institutions and funders 4. Go to market and sales enablement to support new commercial product offerings.

Telegraaf.nl is one of the largest news website in the Netherlands with 5million+ visitors a month and the biggest brand of TMG. After the acquisition of Hyves by TMG, I was invited to work at Telegraaf. During this time was heading desktop and mobile development of important brands of TMG incl. telegraaf.nl, vrouw.nl, telesport.nl, metronieuws.nl and regional news website dichbij.nl.

Hyves was the biggest social network in the Netherlands and I was invited to work at Hyves when it was still growing rapidly. It was an experience by itself to work in a startup with very dynamic environment and deal with high performance scalability problems.
