Muktiforum is a platform for writers, artists, and activists dedicated to building a liberal, pluralist and pro-people society. To that end, it works on various fronts, including activism, sports, culture, research, publication, and media. It wants to engage all possible fronts to transform the society into an ideal state where it most closely aligns with the core values of Muktiforum. I am currently working as an editor for the organization's media wing and organizer of the other fronts.

I write columns for the op-ed section. My columns usually cover a diverse range of topics including politics, economics, society and education.

I worked as an editorial assistant in the editorial and op-ed department. In my role, I regularly wrote editorial and op-ed pieces and edited op-ed pieces sent in by contributors. I also spearheaded a project to make video content on relevant news content in a satirical manner through the newspaper's platform.

Writing as a regular contributor for Himal Briefs, a special section in Himal Southasian that provides updates on the happenings of specific countries to the readers of the magazine. I cover issues related to Bangladesh, especially the political topics.

I worked on developing communications materials and devising communications strategies for the BRAC national programmes. My role included visits to the BRAC regional and remote sites and writing blogposts and social media post copies and editing any relevant documents.

Worked on developing Amnesty's campaign on freedom of speech and expression in Bangladesh, especially in the face of the draconian digital security act. Designed and carried out protests, demonstrations, events, shows, a poetry exhibition, and a debate tournament.

Consulting on research projects on Digital Security Act, Gender-based violence (sexual harassment, rape, etc), police harassment, road transport act, domestic violence, village courts, indigenous rights, Dalit rights, corporal punishment in schools and other issues. Duties also include participating in advocacy and legal education programs on various issues, much of which is heavily centered around sexual harassment and court visits.

I write a weekly column titled "Letters of Liberation" on social, political and economic issues.

I worked as a Student Fellow in Research with the Georgetown India Initiative. The India Initiative, founded in November 2015, builds on Georgetown University’s core strengths to advance research and teaching around India and world affairs and create a platform for high-level dialogue among American and Indian leaders from government, business, civil society, and the academy.

I worked with the American Action Forum's Director of Fiscal Policy as a research assistant. Studying the Multi-employer pension protection plan of the Pension Benefits Guarantee Corporation. The goal of the study is to propose solutions for the Multi-employer pensions crisis and follow the work of the Joint Select Committee on Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans.

I am primarily responsible for tracking politicians and lobbyists as they move in and out of government agencies and lobby organizations. My position is funded by the democracy fellowship, organized by The Foundation for Civic Leadership, Harvard College Democracy Matters, Harvard Republican Club and the Harvard College Democrats.

I interned with the Cato Institute for the Spring 2018 semester. I interned with the Foreign Policy Department. I worked closely with Dr. Sahar Khan to write a report on blasphemy laws and Islamism in Bangladesh and Pakistan. I assisted Christopher Preble with writing a new book chapter and attended the Cato lecture series.

Worked on a research project on American/International political economy. The project interrogates economic voting in the context of corporate HQ relocation, exploring the question: does corporate HQ relocation have demonstrable effects on voting?I have also worked on a research project on voting patterns in the South African Hansards.

Wrote op-eds on policy issues, South Asian politics, international affairs and international relations.

The Manhattan Institute for Policy Research is an American think tank focused on domestic policy and urban affairs. The organization describes its mission as to "develop and disseminate new ideas that foster greater economic choice and individual responsibility".According to The Best Schools, the Institute ranked number 24 of "The 50 Most Influential Think Tanks in the United States".I worked there as a general research intern for Fall 2017. Duties included, but were not limited to, assisting with qualitative and quantitative research assistance, database management, social media posts, and any other assistance that the project managers or scholars needed daily.

I worked on a project on how India’s political elite have thought about war and peace over the past century and a half. This is done principally by excavating now-forgotten or out of prints texts, writings, and speeches from the 1857-1950 period. This is what I have done so far:-Conducted archival research in the Library of India & recorded relevant titles.-Chronicled, acquired and scanned relevant books to be assessed by the team.-Maintained teamwork with an international research team

The Carlyle Gregory Company provides in-depth media and political consulting services to candidates, public figures, political institutions, and businesses.What I did for the Carlyle Gregory Company so far:1) Worked on four successful election campaigns. 2) Conducted opposition research, legislative district research, candidate background research and crafted opinion poll questionnaires. 3) Wrote, edited and proofread campaign materials including campaign plans, advertisements, donor letters, prospect letters, news releases, and statements. 2) Prepared, edited and proofread AMPAC campaign management training manual, GW graduate course material, and ABA campaign manual.3) Suggested workflow software and web services to streamline management.4) Managed company finances and kept records on Quickbooks. 5) Maintained contact with vendors regarding office supplies and maintenance.6) Answered and forwarded calls as necessary, took detailed notes on calls, greeted guests and facilitated company meetings and conferences.

The Student Voice of Howard University Since 1924. The Hilltop at Howard University remains on the forefront of campus, local, and national news. Here's what I did for the Hilltop:1) Contributed as the primary political news correspondent.2) Conducted interviews around campus regarding issues on national politics.
