Expertise in the material design, synthesis, and characterizations underpinning developments of solar energy research, including photovoltaics, photothermal, photocatalytic and passive cooling. A strong inorganic chemistry background combined with materials science has enabled me to produce bespoke nano-scale designer materials for solar energy applications

PhD in PhotovoltaicsI completed my Ph.D. through my self-funded fellowship, which was obtained by writing a project proposal for the INSPIRE Ph.D. program sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. In addition to my regular Ph.D. work, I have made significant contributions in the following areas:• I have pioneered the development of novel materials specifically tailored for emerging solar cells. These materials represent a first-time contribution to the solar cell community.• I have been an active member of the CSIR-800 Mission, which aims to enhance the lives of 800 million fellow Indians through science and technology interventions.

In my current role, I have been tasked with two primary responsibilities:• The development of a temporary corrosion-resistant coating for rebars.• The extraction of zinc from waste pickling liquor (degalvanized steel).I achieved my first international publication within the first six months of joining this industry, which is a significant accomplishment. Additionally, I have gained experience in conducting large-scale trials, implementing industrial health and safety protocols, and contributing to the creation of a stable working environment and a cohesive community within the organization.
