• Accor is a global hospitality brand head-quartered in Paris, France. It has over 250,000 employees globally. In 2012, Accor bought 48 Mirvac hotels across Australia, and rebranded them. I was with Mirvac and continued.
• Provided strong leadership focus, direction, support and development for the NSW Finance team, including 9 Financial Controllers across 16 NSW hotels
• Oversaw all financial control deliverables for compliance, accuracy and user-value
• Coached and advised executives and senior managers to meet business outcomes and future challenges, and developed the financial literacy of leaders at all levels in the business
• Facilitated bi-monthly Regional Leadership meetings re finance business strategy, policies and budgets
• Introduced an Internal Audit programme interchanging Financial Controllers from hotels performing audits of other hotels, thereby assisting in cross-exposure and fresh thinking

Oversaw accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll functions and all financial reporting requirements. The role required close liaison with international and local parent companies.
