COMPETENCE BY EXPERIENCES in mental health and substance abuse services: Since I´ve over 30 years ago first became a registered nurse, and right after a specialized nurse for psychiatry, almost all of the works has been in the field of mental health and substance abuse services. By the interesting work possibilities, I´ve seen inpatient psychiatric wards in hospitals and several outpatients mental health and substance abuse units, in specialized care and in community-based services.In the middle of the work I´ve increased my competence by different studies to learn more and keep up with developments. Because of this I´ve experience as a nurse, head nurse, service manager and manager of nursing, but also facilitator, developing coordinator, project manager and development manager. SKILLS AT WORK:In recent work I can combine all of my interest, experience, skills and knowledge: development, management and leadership, networking, social relationships, group works, etc, and all including to get better mental health and substance abuse services for people in health and social service reform. INTERESTS:As the balance of work, the time with family and friends is important, but also my several interests, like oil painting, golf, caravan and other travelling, water gymnastics and nordic walking gives me power.
