• Highly motivated chemist with strong problem solving skills, comprehensive knowledge in physical, organic and analytical chemistry.• A broad understanding of the drug development process, including clinical design, chemical development, and formulation development, especially how these processes impact analytical method development, validation, and method transfer.• Experienced in leading technology transfer of analytical methods for new product development, starting materials and APIs in accordance with GLP and cGMP requirements.• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on modern analytical techniques/instruments and data analysis including HPLC, HPLC/MS, UPLC/MS, GC, GC-MS, FT-IR, UV-Vis, NMR, and other instruments in pharmaceutical R&D.• Experience in analytical method development, validation, optimization, and method transfer for HPLC, HPLC/MS.• Experience in chemical structure determination from GC/MS data and LC/MS data based on complex EI fragmentation and NMR data (APIs and impurities).• Expertise in impurity investigations including process-related impurities, degradation products, catalysts, and residual solvents.• Sample preparation and purification techniques: SPE, flash chromatography, HPLC, extraction and recrystallization, etc.• Excellent organization, project management, communication and writing skills.• Strong laboratory ( SOP trained in accordance with GLP and cGMP requirement) and computer techniques (Windows, MS Office, data acquisition software).•
