About Aoife Smith

Driven by working directly with communities to innovate and problem solve complex social issues. Currently working on a gender equality startup with migrant women that is a worker owned co-op delivering a community development model based on human-centred care. Skilled in project management, operations, diversity, design thinking and creative facilitation. Also an experienced equality campaigner at local, national and international levels and have worked on issues of gender equality, anti-racism and discrimination, human rights and inclusion. My expertise is in the area of community development, gender, labour migration and employment policy. This work has taken me across the globe to international human rights organisations including the UNHCR, UN ILO, and the GFMD to present on my work with migrant domestic workers.
