- Co-designed and managed the internationally awarded Beyond the Grid Fund for Zambia (BGFZ), targeting rural populations without access to electricity. By 2021, the program successfully achieved its goal of providing electricity to over one million Zambians by fostering a market for affordable energy services. This was accomplished by supporting private energy service providers in scaling their businesses through Social Impact Procurement.Since 2018, BGFZ has expanded into The Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa (BGFA), now operating across six countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. As a multi-donor facility, BGFA delivers electricity access to millions, driving sustainable energy solutions across the region.
