As a software development intern at TransSys Solutions Pvt. Ltd., I led a team of three interns that interfaced with engineers from the company and developed a prototype Android application for the Oracle Self-Service Absence Management module. I was exposed to and worked with technologies like ADF mobile, Java EJB, SOA-BPEL and Android Development Toolkit.The application was adopted by the company and published on Google Play. An enhanced version of the application was released soon after the internship and is now in use by two other companies.

During my sophomore year at the College of Engineering, Guindy (Anna University), I worked as a summer research intern on a project “Rapid I/O” at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. My mentor and I had several brainstorming sessions during which we came up with solutions to several bottlenecks the project had been facing at the time. Some of the bottlenecks we addressed were the packet formats for message passing, read-write operations and doorbell operations. By the end of the internship, I had implemented prototype algorithms for message passing layer and read-write operations.
