Global Interactive Marketing creates and manages the digital brand experience for Medtronic globally. We expand brand awareness, foster market growth, and deliver higher customer satisfaction via websites, social media, e-mail, mobile, and other online experiences. Global Brand Marketing provides central services to the organization including; Global Conventions Management, Corporate Marketing, Brand Management, Creative Services, and Global Interactive Web Development. In conjunction with business unit stakeholders we help strategize and implement Business Unit funded initiatives. My position interfaces with the corporate financial team and marketing business leads to ensure projects are logged into the system, vendor evaluation and selection have gone through the appropriate procurement processes, budgets are established, progress tracked and the department stays within budget and charges billed to departments for the work delivered. Technical learning has included SAP and Microsoft Project. This was a new position within Global Brand Management and I developed a system of processes in order to complete my responsibilities in an efficient and orderly manner.

I worked across all teams within Global Brand Mgmt (Interactive, Brand, Marketing, Creative Solutions, and Conventions). I hold a cross functional position at Medtronic so I'm faced with new challenging situations on a regular basis. I work on projects that range from global marketing campaigns to web banner development. I've demonstrated the ability to learn quickly and apply new learning to deliver projects.

I developed the curriculum for beginner skiers ranging from 5-8 years of age that would be engaging, safe and meet the needs of all participants. Classes would last 1.5 hours, would include 4-8 students and I was the only adult. I needed to address both the physical capabilities and learning styles of the students as well as the emotional needs including fear of failure, fatigue, cold, and child parent separation anxiety.

The internship was designed to build the front office and back office skills needed to manage a successful athletic club including: general management, interact with member clients in a personal training capacity. This included establishing goals and objectives, developing a specific training program, and teaching members how to implement the program and modify the program based upon observations and member feedback.

I applied classroom motivation, leadership, and team building concepts to real world situations to build individual skills and advance the concepts and strategy of the game. I recognized skills and assigned positions, as well as motivated individuals to play a specific role and function as a team.

I assisted the Director of Operations in her daily activities. I was also responsible to ensure the meeting room equipment was set up and functioning to internal customers’ specifications to support a successful customer meetings.
