I was responsible for two sessions (four hours each) of Physical Chemistry Lab per week. In addition, I graded lab reports, held office hours, and helped the students connect the fundamental chemistry concepts behind the experiments they were performing.

I was hired as one of two Aquatics Interns to manage day to day operations of the water park at the Young Life camp, Washington Family Ranch Creekside. Tasks included, but were not limited to, ensuring that all slides were inspected and problems reported, upholding safety standards, training incoming lifeguards and slide operators, mentoring the lifeguards.

Supervised a section of General Chemistry Lab. This involved helping students connect concepts learned in the classroom setting with the lab tasks at hand. I was also responsible for ensuring all safety protocol were followed. Outside of lab I fielded questions and graded lab reports.

Supervised a section of Organic Chemistry Lab. Before lab I was responsible for creating any required organic solutions, chemical tests, or setting up demonstrations of lab materials. During lab I helped connect classroom content to the weekly labs. This included helping students understand synthesis steps, purification procedures, chemical testing.
